Here are a few pictures of chinking on a house up by Blue Mountain. The chinking we used on this home was Perma-Chink (Color: White). It turned out beautifully.
Interior Energy Seal Caulking of Log home
On this log home we washed the walls using a mild TSP cleaning solution, and applied a clear coat of Sashco Symphony Gloss Interior Clear (Gloss). Then we sealed all the log joints with Energy Seal.
Victor, Montana Log Home
On this home, we did a good cleaning with log wash, and then a maintenance coat of stain (Autumn Gold color) and clear top coat. We also sealed all the log joints with Energy Seal. The house had black caulking that the home owner wanted removed or covered over. The cost to remove it was quite high because of the labor involved. So they opted to have any loose caulk removed and then we went over the black caulk with the Energy Seal. It worked out very well, and the homeowners were very pleased with the end result.
Cedar Home with Cabots Semi-Solid Stain
This is a cedar home that had severe sun damage on the south and west sides. We used Cabot's Semi-Solid. The homeowner was very pleased with the results, as were we.
